My name is Armaan Ahmed. I am a high school student who loves wildlife and aircraft. I was born and raised in Dubai, but my family is originally from New Delhi, India. I am a 16 year old high school student currently doing the IB Diploma Programme. I study mathematics, physics, CS, and love learning Spanish! I love jazz, rock, and classical music.
I will start the 12th Grade in September 2025 and I am really excited to start college applications then. While I’m not sure on what I want to do in the future, I’m sure that I want to work in aviation. I am an aviation geek (avgeek for short!), and since I live in Mirdif, right next to the Dubai International Airport (DXB), a plane flies over my house every 80 seconds! I have seen countless plane types and some very rare airlines. In fact, as I’m writing this, a Gulf Air Airbus A320neo from Manama, Bahrain just flew over my head! This fixation of mine with airplanes has even got me interested in becoming a pilot!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, sketching, and watching Formula 1. These hobbies allow me to stay creative and balanced, especially during busy school weeks. I would describe myself as reflective and always eager to learn.
